I had my operation today, Wed 23rd Sept – further X-rays confirmed that I have FCP, and need to have part of the bone in my elbow removed.
I’ve now returned home and are currently sleeping in my cage, recovering from the anaesthetic.
Although half my leg is shaved, I’ve only got a small plaster on the inside of my elbow, and apparently the wound itself is only 1-2 cms long (but Mummy won’t let me look yet). Apparently all my stitches are internal, so no need to have them taken out in a few weeks.
Hope you will soon be better. I will miss not being able to play with you.
