It was so funny this morning – Mummy caught Casey in the act… He had one of our bones that are designed for giant dogs (2 sizes bigger than we are meant to have) and it was as much as he could do to hold it between his paws, it was so large. But as he was enjoying it I let him keep it – now if that had been Hal….
I gave Mummy loads of kisses this morning, and then she had a shower to wash them all off – why would she do that? I’d given her a much better wash than she’d get from any shower.
It was sooooo cold first thing – down to -11C for our walk this morning. Mummy let us wear our fleece coats instead of our fluorescent ones as she thought we needed the extra warmth. Oh, it was so cold that the inside of the front door had icicles round the letterbox, and that despite us having the heating on. And Mummy couldn’t unlock in the side door to the garage – it’s totally frozen.
Oh, it’s such fun playing out in the snow, and Hal doesn’t seem to suffer too much with his leg. Mummy took us on a lovely walk this morning – here’s some photos of us playing in the fields:

I passed! I passed! Yeah, I passed my silver obedience today. I’m such a happy puppy and Mummy is so proud of me. And then we got to do a few fun things like recall through Mummy’s legs,and weaving through her legs as she walked. And she’d started teaching me which side to recall to.

Mummy has decided that this weather is here to stay for a few months and so ordered winter tyres for her car today. Yippee – does that mean we’ll still be able to go and see cousins Sparky and Gizzy and Grandma and Grandpa for Chirstmas?
Yippee! From today the evenings start to get longer – only by 1 minute every few days, but that at least is progress.
We received a few gifts from one of our friends in Australia today – a couple of Aussie flags, two cuddling koala bears, a photo and a lovely shell christmas tree decoration. Do you think we could be honary Aussies?
We ordered Mummy’s Xmas pressie this evening – we hope it comes in time. Oh, it was so difficult to order it without her knowing, but we manged it in the end. We went for the upgraded model as it is from all 4 of us. I so hope she likes it…
It was foggy for our walk this morning so Mummy made us wear our fluorescent coats across the fields. But she still kept calling us every time we disappeared from sight. Mummy, I thought the whole purpose of walks was to allow us to run around, chase the birds and generally get rid of our excess energy – how can we do that when you keep calling us back? Mummy put Hal back on a lead early as he was limping a bit, and she also put me on a lead so I didn’t wind him up – but then I started crying as there were so many birds that I wanted to go and chase, so Mummy took pity on me and let me off the lead again. Oh, that was so much fun – chasing all those birds, yapping as I went. Mummy lost sight of me several times, but I returned to her when she called me.
