Mummy thinks I’ve been feeling a little down recently as the cold keeps getting into my elbow, but I showed her this morning that I’m OK – by stealing things “just because I can”. She came out of the shower to find various objects scattered around the bed, and me cuddling and sucking her slipper. I don’t damage the things I steal – just cuddle and/or suck them.
Mummy didn’t tell us before, but our new fleecy jumpers can also be used as drying jackets. Zen and I don’t like the hairdryer, so we are normally left to dry ourselves, but it’s a bit cold to do that this time of year. But these new jumpers help keep us warm whilst we are drying, dry us faster and help straighten our fur whilst it dries. And Mummy says it even seems to make our fur a bit softer and fluffier. Oh, school was cancelled again today – apparently our teacher was very sick so couldn’t take the class. How are we going to pass our exam next week if we keep missing lessons? I wish Hal would let me practise at home, but he keeps jumping on me and trying to steal, my treats.
We went to our first carol concert this evening – our Cavie brothers went to one 2 years ago, but this was our first carol concert. Mummy managed to get a seat in the front row so that we could spread out a bit more – and then joined us on the floor as she thought we’d be more relaxed that way.
Mummy says we were really well behaved – we didn’t even bark when the alpacas walked right past us. How good was that?
And we tried our hardest to sing in tune – O Howl All Ye Faithful and We Wish You A Howling Christmas…
There was one little girl that kept cuddling Zen, so he cuddled her right back, putting his paws round her neck and giving her a nuzzle. I think she fell in love with him…

I’m pleased to report that Cousin Gizzy is doing well with his leg – almost back to normal now 🙂
