Bouncy Bounce

Yeah, I’ve got my bounce back!  I’m feeling so good these days that I just want to run and play.  And Zen is game to play with me – oh, it’s just so lovely being a normal puppy brother again.  Now to make up for lost time….

Starlings and Bobbing Bowls

I found a dead Starling on our walk this morning.  And I was so good and didn’t run off with it, instead taking it to Mummy and laying it at her feet.  I think Mummy was really pleased with me – I didn’t have the heart to tell her that I actually didn’t like the taste of it.

I got a little carried away eating my breakfast – Mummy puts our bowls on tubs to raise them so we don’t have to strain down at ground level, and in my enthusiasm I ended up pushing my food bowl into our water bowl.  How am I meant to eat my food with my bowl bobbing around in the water?

Facebook

Zen and I have got a facebook account!  If you want to find us, search for “Hal-Zen Welshies”.  We’ve got quite a few friends already, but would like many more.  At this rate, we’re getting more IT savvy than Mummy!

Dicky Tummy

I had a bit of a dicky tummy this morning – Mummy caught me with “the runs” in the garden before breakfast, so she gave me some tablets to help.  Stupid Mummy thought she could trick me into thinking the tablets were treats, and made me do all sorts of sits, downs, stays, etc to get them, but I knew that they weren’t real treats – they were far too big for that.  But I was good and ate them anyway.

I think Mummy felt sorry for me – she did strangled egg for all of us for lunch to make me feel better.  Don’t tell Mummy, but I’m actually feeling OK, but I’ll have the strangled egg anyway.

We got to have 2 good walks today, and on the second one Amber joined us – and so did her Daddy once he’d caught up with us all!  We all had a good play in the fields, although it did mean we ended up rather muddy and needed a shower once we got home.

My tummy has been feeling much better this afternoon, so think Mummy’s “special treats” might have done the trick.  Love you Mummy.

Bronze – Silver – Gold?

Having passed my bronze Good Citizen course back in the summer, I started my silver course today.  There were meant to be 4 of us in the class, but 2 didn’t turn up.  Oh, I got such a great surprise when I saw the other dog that was joining us – it was Indie, our next-door neighbour.  I tried to be really good for Mummy, but it was so hard work – I was totally shattered at the end of it.  Our trainer had us working for the full hour (apart from a couple of short breaks).  When I got home I just wanted to sleep – but then my cousins Gizzy and Sparky turned up so no chance of that.  But I was happy – Mummy was pleased with me, and I got to play with my brothers and cousins as well.

Fireworks and Bangs

Poor little Casey – he’s really hating the fireworks this evening.  I’ve been trying to chase them away for him, barking at all the bangs, but it doesn’t seem to be making him any more relaxed.  And Mummy has already given Casey anti-stress herbal medication these last few days to prepare him for the bangs.

Mummy collected our Passports today – so in 6 months we can go abroad.  I wonder if Mummy will take us anywhere – our Cavie brothers have had theirs for years and still been nowhere other than Ireland.

21 Months Old Today

We’re 21 months old today – gosh, isn’t time passing quickly.

One of Mummy’s friends had to take us out for our walks today as Mummy had to go into the office.  Oh dear, we weren’t exactly well behaved – we all ran off and didn’t come back when called, and then proceeded to find loads of bird parts to play with….  I don’t think she was too impressed with us.  On our second walk she kept us all on leads – were we really that bad?
