Mummy’s just cut 5ft off the top of our side hedge, and it’s still taller than her. But now she’s all perforated as it’s a very prickly hedge – I hope she doesn’t start to leak…
Mummy then did some more gardening in our back garden – and we tried really hard to help her tidy up:
Hal was such a big baby this morning – Mummy fed us at our normal time and then we all went back to bed for a while – and Hal fell asleep sucking Mummy’s fingers!

We went to the Hearing Dogs Summer Fayre today. As usual loads of people made a fuss of us. At one point we ended up baby-sitting 4 children whilst their Mummy’s and Daddy’s queued for food or went off and did other things. Mummy was really pleased with us for looking after them so well.
Mummy put our new Paddling Pool up today, and as Casey was getting a little hot in the sun he got to try his new cool coat out as well:
Mummy’s been checking the tyre pressure on her car – two tyres pumped up and now the motor of the tyre thingy has decided to give up and go on holiday. Do you think her car will now limp?
Mummy’s shattered – she’s dug up 12 shrubs today that have been in the ground for 14 years. I hope this means an early night and extra snuggles…
Our new paddling pool arrived today – we hope Mummy can put it up this weekend. This is a special paddling pool for dogs – it has non-slip plastic in the bottom and no blow-up areas that we can puncture.
