Little Fire Rockets – that’s how Mummy described us on our walk this morning, with all the running around we were doing. Darting around in all directions….
Mummy was talking to the owner of a small dog food company a few weeks ago about dog food in general and our particular requirements and he challenged Mummy to give his food a try. He sent through 6 sample packs so there was enough for all 4 of us – we’ve been trying it over the last week, and as of Saturday Mummy has converted us to it 100%. She thinks we’re calmer now and more settled. She’s now going to watch us closely over the next few weeks to see how we are.
Mummy made us wear our rain coats this evening – having bathed us all today she wanted us to remain clean for at least 24 hours and thought this was the best way of achieving it (we had rain much of today). But she’s sure we’ve grown since we last wore them – they seem 2-4 inches shorter than last time.
Oh, and Mummy embarrassed us this evening – a big company gives little Mummy a contract to sign and Mummy goes back ans says 2 typos, 3 things I don’t like and 3 things I want you to add. Now Mummy, who do you think is going to win?
Thank you, Mummy, for repairing my bed after my stupid brother borke the zip. Why didn’t he attack his own bed – oh, forgot, he already did. Velcro seems much safer than zips whenever my brother is around.
Mummy’s got us some new drying coats as we tend to get a little chilled after our baths – these will keep us nice and warm. And we can confirm that you can still have a fight with your brother whilst wearing them!
We had a fantastic day today, even if Mummy wouldn’t let us try the doggie dash. And she bought us cooling coats for the summer – just as well we got to try them on as we needed one size bigger than she would have ordered.
Loads of people said how lovely we are & made a fuss of us. And we got to eat a beefy postman.
Poor little Casey hurt his leg this evening. We had to cut our walk short and Mummy had to carry him home 🙁 . He was off exploring in the bushes when it happened – didn’t get to see what he did, but Mummy can’t find anything wrong with his leg or paw, so hope it’s just a sprain. Shandy has been cuddling his little brother to cheer him up:
Hehe, Mummy gave us a bath last night, so we sneaked off to the rape seed field during our walk this morning 🙂 . I got to chase a rabbit all through the rape seed field, so am well and truly sticky again. And although Hal looks fine from the top, his tummy gives him away…
