Mummy received our birthday present today – it looks lovely and big, so that is a good sign. Wonder what it is…. Any suggestions? It’s still over 2 weeks before we’ll find out.
Mummy also took Shandy to see the nice vet today, so he could have his mouth checked after the op on his teeth on New Year’s Eve. The vet also checked our elbows whilst we were there – he seemed pleased with our progress – and Mummy got him to weigh all of us. Here are our weights:
Shandy – 10.25kg
Casey – 9.35kg
Hal – 18.3kg
Zen – 16.8kg
Zen was a little shy, so we suspect he may have had a toe off the scales at the time!
Fingers crossed none of us have to go back to the vets now until our boosters are due in April.
How does the vet weigh you? Piri said that the vet cuddled her & announced her weight when she had her anti-puppy injection ~ I’d like to see him try that with ME!
The vet has a large mat on the floor which we sit on, and somehow that tells him our weight – and if we sit really nicely then we get a treat.
Clever vet, are you allowed to ruck it up to make a nest?
No – it’s rubber so not very easy to build a nest out of it. Perhaps Mummy will let us take a towel with us next time….
