Sssshhhh – Don’t Tell Anyone

But we think we know what one of our birthday presents is going to be.  We heard Mummy talking to a Mr Plumber about having a warm water tap installed in the garden so that we can have our legs and feet washed in nice warm water after muddy walks, rather than having to put up with that horrible cold tap.  And apparently it’s going to be a very clever tap, so it will automatically ensure that the water is just the right temperature for us.  I wonder if Mummy will also use that tap to fill our paddling pool once we’re allowed that again.

Warm Water? Warm is bed & fire & mumma’s dinner. Water is cold. Well, that’s my experience, except from 1 of those water hotter things & then it hurts.

I think mumma’s friend has gone mad ~ he’s living in a vanny thing in my yard, but steals my sofa for 1/2 hour or so. He’s not giving me nice bones as he did in the Summer & he’s not sleeping on my sofa, so mumma shuts up the sitting room at night. In the Summer we had the sitting room ALL the time. I suppose with him in the vanny thing, I do get mumma all to myself (if you ignore the annoying other dogs), but it seems odd to me. Does your mumma have strange friends?

No, Mummy doesn’t have strange friends – all the friends without dogs we’ve chased away so that we can either have friends to play with or have Mummy all to ourselves.

It’s NOT fair ~ Mumma made a new doggy friend with the most beautiful girly Whippet, but she wouldn’t play with me. Mumma’s friend with the bitey Alsatian’s Girly Lurcher wouldn’t play with me either. 🙁 I was such a friendly dog with the girlies & everyone tells me that I’m handsome, so why won’t they play? Mumma’s mad dogless friend has gone ~ do you think he’s gone to get a girly for me to play with? Mumma doesn’t have many dogless friends
