Week 1, Day 6

It’s getting very boring in my cage now.  I tried to play tug-of-war with my brother through the cage yesterday, but once he got the teething keys away from me I had no chance of chasing after them and fighting back.

Mummy was reading the after care instructions again yesterday, and she’s sure I jumped straight to week 3 recovery – I was using my leg the day of the op, was as hungry as usual, and have been bright from the start.  Indeed, I’ve been using my leg normally from day 2, walking (or running / jumping if Mummy is not quick enough to stop me) as usual.

I think Hal is in Mummy’s bad books today – he’s pulled out a piece of foam from Shandy’s bed and shredded it into about 20 different pieces.  That’s normally my job – wish I’d been able to help him!

It’s not my fault – I’m bored without my brother or Gizzy to play with. And according to Shandy the bed was getting old anyway, and if we destroy it then he gets a new one….

  2. Monty says:

Really glad you are getting on so well. Just ensure you don’t do too much. Take it from me, it’s great to just laze around all day long sleeping (although you’ll probably appreciate it that much more when you are older) – can’t beat it…

  3. Zen says:

Sorry, Monty – I was asleep when your comment came through!
But surely there’s a limit to how much sleep you can have, with so much else to do – chasing birds, annoying your brothers or chewing all those things that Mummy has left lying around….

  4. Gizzy says:

I’ve missed you today, Hal. I had to amuse myself by digging up Daddy’s rhubarb plant and it wasn’t appreciated when I took it indoors to show him.

  5. Hal says:

You could always come and play with me Wed / Thurs when Mummy is at work…. Just think what fun we could have.
