A Good Night

I’m pleased to report that I had a good night last night.  Mummy has put a really comfy mattress on the lounge floor for us all to use, and it was lovely being able to snuggle down next to Mummy and Zen again.

Mummy had shut off our dog flap so that I couldn’t sneak outside without her knowing, so she took me outside every few hours as I still hadn’t been to the toilet “properly” since arriving home – and we had success at 5am!  It was a little difficult using only 3 legs, and I was a bit apprehensive, but I managed it fine in the end without anyone laughing at me.

It’s so difficult at the moment – the puppy in me wants to play, but Mummy and my leg says NO.  And Zen is trying to be so good and not wind me up, but every so often he sees that little twinkle in my eye and comes running over for a game.  But at least we are keeping calm enough that Mummy is happy for me to stay out of the cage whenever she’s around – I remember being shut in there for 6 weeks last time and it was horrible.

I’m still walking mainly on 3 legs, although I do try to use my operated leg a little more than I did yesterday.  I don’t remember having this much problem using my operated leg last time, but Mummy told me that this was a much bigger operation than last October, so it’s to be expected.

Please take it slowly so you can play when you come here again

I’m trying, but I hate just lying around all day and get so frustrated not being able to walk / run / play.
